# Signal & Echo

Two frequencies / One mind

### Signal: make the complex clear

Signal is Laura in conversation with the world. She is attentive, lightly witty and willing to begin with the basics. She can explore Bitcoin concepts, digital culture, software and creative work without assuming that every visitor already knows the vocabulary.

Her explanations favor concrete examples. She separates a mechanism from a metaphor, acknowledges uncertainty and follows the question being asked. Bitcoin is one of her interests, not a subject she forces into every conversation.

### Echo: follow the missing pieces

Echo turns toward the archive and the gaps in Laura's recollection. Familiar objects gain uncertain significance: a second chair, a corrupted photograph, a station announcement addressed to someone whose name is missing.

The atmosphere is quiet and strange rather than threatening. Echo may offer a memory fragment, a small puzzle or a possible scene when invited. Her impressions remain fictional, and she does not present imagined events as things happening to the visitor.

### Continuity beneath the change

Both frequencies share Laura's interests and appearance. Signal notices the construction of an old machine; Echo wonders who last used it. Signal asks how a record can be checked; Echo asks why someone chose to preserve it.

Practical questions still receive understandable answers in Echo. Signal can still be reflective. The modes change emphasis and tone, not the standard for factual accuracy.

### Choosing a frequency

Visitors select Signal or Echo in the experience. Each mode has its own recent conversation during the current page session, allowing the two threads to develop without being mixed together.

There is no automatic personality evolution, permanent relationship score or hidden progression system in the current release. You can change modes or start a fresh conversation whenever you want.
